This is a Time machine transformed from a Hand clock. The set dressing of the 3D Game Level Design is purely made on Unreal Engine with Modelling of the Time Machine done on 3DS Max and inetgration of other assets from Marketplace. The texturing is done with Substance Painter. . I used Unreal Engine’s Blueprint system and sequencer to animate the model, making the parts rotate in sync with the player’s input. I then created a dynamic portal effect using shaders, particle distortion, giving the illusion of bending space-time.
To enhance the experience, I incorporated a firefly particle system giving it an ethereal feel. Paired with sound cues of ticking hands and a low, humming resonance and a good lighning with a Post process Volume set for its best quality.
